How Does the CHOICE Program Work?

School CHOICE is a simple but very powerful program. Each year we pay up to a maximum of $2,000 per child. These scholarships may be used at any accredited private school located in Jefferson County. Parents can choose the private school that best meets the needs of their child. All tuition payments are made directly to the school. Scholarships are awarded for 3 years, provided the families continue to yearly meet the income guidelines and the admission criteria of the schools.
