Beginning in 2017, FACTS Grant & Aid Assessment is processing all applications and conducting the financial need analysis for School Choice Scholarships.  Families applying for scholarships must complete an application and submit the necessary supporting documentation to FACTS  on or before March 15, 2017

Once an online application has been completed, the following information must be sent to FACTS to complete your application:

  • Copies of your most recent Federal tax forms including all supporting tax schedules.
  • Copies of most recent W-2 forms for you, your spouse / significant other, child's other parent if divorced or separated, and any other adults legally or financially responsible for child.
  • Copies of Social Security Income, Welfare, Child Support, Food Stamps, Workers’ Compensation, and TANF, where applicable.

Supporting documents can be submitted one of three ways:

All eligible applicants will be included in our lottery draw in May 2017 to determine scholarship awards for the 2017-18 school year. All applicants will be notified by June 30 whether or not they have received a scholarship. Applicants not chosen in the lottery will be placed on our waiting list and notified if a scholarship becomes available.

In order to apply for a scholarship a child must:

  • Live and attend school in Jefferson or Oldham County
  • Be entering Kindergarten (K) through the Sixth Grade (6) in the Fall of 2017 at any private or parochial school (Unless your child is currently in the program, in which case you can apply through the eighth grade).
  • Be Eligible for the Free and Reduced Lunch Program
